ISEA2025 Review Process
ACADEMIC PROGRAM
Full and Short Paper submissions and Panel Discussions are double-blind peer-reviewed by members of International Program Committee (IPC). Academic Directors and Track Chairs make the final decisions of acceptance/rejection based on IPC’s recommendations. Full and Short Papers, abstracts of Panels Discussions and Poster/Demonstrations will be published in the ISEA2025 Proceedings.
Institutional Presentations, Poster/Demonstrations, Workshops and Artist Talks are selected by appropriate Track Chairs based on their quality and relevance to the Symposium theme.
Special Tracks are operated independently, and the respective Track Chairs select works with comprehensive consideration of the symposium theme and their own curatorial approach.
ARTISTIC PROGRAM
Proposals for artworks are evaluated through single-blind peer-review process (i.e. reviewers know the identity of the artists, but the artists do not know the identity of the reviewers,) conducted by the Art Juries and Artistic Directors. The evaluation criteria are based on the quality, relevance, and originality of the submissions.
Final decisions regarding acceptance or rejection are made by the Artistic Directors, considering the Art Juries’ recommendations, the overall feasibility of the artworks, and their alignment with ISEA2025 theme. The selected artworks will be published in the ISEA2025 catalog.
